My mini is about 350 lbs and it seems the bute-less is working. But bute-less is formulated for horses weighing 1100 lbs. So it may be difficult to give the right dose to such a small horse. I give my mini 1/4 scoop of bute-less once a day. That is a tiny amount, so you would have to give even less I would think. But I'm not a vet. You would need to ask a vet how much bute -less to give a 150 lb. horse.
