Its a higher quality beater/lower level 'good knife'. Picked it up to have as a back up in my work bag and ive actually been carrying it daily as an EMS working for about a year now. Its on the bigger side for an EDC knife for me (probably wouldnt be my first choice if I had an office job or I was still doing SAR) but its thin, light and a good slicer for cutting BS open and even cutting up an apple. Review: Big blade, easy carry, very inexpensive - Fantastic blade for the price. This is a large blade but the knife is so thin and light you cannot even tell its in your pocket. Get your fingers out of the way once its broke in though. Cut my finger 3x breaking it in :). Its so sharp I didnt think I was cut and they were all pretty deep. The Voyager and Spartan the blade ricasso will hit your finger and stop and therefore not cut you but this one the blade is to your finger! ## Features - Hunting Knives Folding Blade ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B09DLDXWLD | | Age Range (Description) | Adult | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Best Sellers Rank | #276,385 in Sports & Outdoors ( See Top 100 in Sports & Outdoors ) #415 in Folding Hunting Knives | | Blade Edge | Straight | | Blade Length | 4 inches | | Blade Material | 4034SS | | Blade Shape | Clip Point | | Blade Type | Non-Serrated | | Brand | Cold Steel | | Brand Name | Cold Steel | | Color | Flat Dark Earth | | Customer Package Type | Standard Packaging | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 out of 5 stars 93 Reviews | | Hand Orientation | Ambidextrous | | Handle Material | Flat Dark Earth Zy-Ex | | Included Components | Hunting Knives Folding Blade | | Item Length | 9.25 inches | | Item Shape | Rectangular | | Item Type Name | Hunting Knives Folding Blade | | Item Weight | 3.36 ounces | | Manufacturer | GSM LLC | | Model Name | CS-20KR9 | | Model Number | CS-20KR9 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Part Number | CS-20KR9Z | | Power Source | hand_powered | | Product Care Instructions | Hand Wash Only | | Recommended Uses For Product | Hunting, Outdoor Activities | | Reusability | Reusable | | Size | 4" | | Special Feature | Foldable, Locking Blades, Reversible, Rust Resistant | | Special Features | Foldable, Locking Blades, Reversible, Rust Resistant | | Style | Classic | | Theme | Hunting | | UPC | 705442019855 888151036907 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Age Range (Description):** Adult - **Blade Material:** 4034SS - **Brand:** Cold Steel - **Color:** Flat Dark Earth - **Handle Material:** Flat Dark Earth Zy-Ex - **Included Components:** Hunting Knives Folding Blade - **Model Name:** CS-20KR9 - **Recommended Uses For Product:** Hunting, Outdoor Activities - **Special Feature:** Foldable, Locking Blades, Reversible, Rust Resistant - **Style:** Classic ## Images ![Range Boss Flat Dark Earth Handle / 9 1/4" Overall - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61WIYrBNSuL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good value on mid-quality knife *by K***S on February 3, 2026* Good value! Its a higher quality beater/lower level 'good knife'. Picked it up to have as a back up in my work bag and ive actually been carrying it daily as an EMS working for about a year now. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very sold knife! *by C***N on August 3, 2025* Great knife! Grip is amazing. One thing to know about Cold Steel knife’s is they have big handles. It’s a plus and a minus. Edge? Razor sharp! Profile is very nice. I hope they make a “camp boss” this knife just slightly scaled down. Your choice is sold on this one. ## Frequently Bought Together - Cold Steel Range Boss Flat Dark Earth Handle / 9 1/4" Overall - Cold Steel Range Boss Black Handle / 9 1/4" Overall - Cold Steel SR1 Lite 8Cr14MoV Steel 4" Blade Griv-Ex Handle Tactical Self-Defense Folding Knife with Tri-Ad Locking Mechanism, Pocket/Belt Clip --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.at/products/374927893-range-boss-flat-dark-earth-handle-9-1-4-overall](https://www.desertcart.at/products/374927893-range-boss-flat-dark-earth-handle-9-1-4-overall) --- *Product available on Desertcart Austria* *Store origin: AT* *Last updated: 2026-10-13*
