This is what they are intended for. Good functional cable though *by K***B on March 11, 2022* This small cable is shorter than the 8" in the spec - by approx 1 inch. It came recommended as an alternate to a Fire TV Stick power cable, using the USB port for power rather than using the power cable provided witht the Fire Stick. However the Fire Stick power system is a power block plus a USB cable, so the power solution can be satisfied by using the cable included without buying another cable.
