Notes: *Before you cut this vehicle backup camera’s purple wire loop to choose AHD 720P 30fps video signal output, please make sure your Android stereo support AHD video signal input first. *keep this car front view camera’s wire and 26ft extension wire away from high temperature area, such as engine or exhaust. Review: Always turns on - I have 2 of these on both of my cars. Problem with my old cheap reverse camera was that it was unreliable and would often not come on. This one always comes on, and you can feel the quality. It’s got good weight to it and the image quality looks good. No flickering. Would definitely recommend this product, makes it super easy to bolt right into the existing license plate mount.
Review: Wide angle rear view camera - This camera is solid and made of metal, not plastic. The image quality ok with the reproduced colours all correct unlike cheap cameras I have had in the past. The camera would not work on any of the higher resolutions other than basic dispute my sterio display being a high resolution top of the line Sony AVX8500. I'm not sure it it is the sterio or camera compatibility. Overall I'm happy with the camera being clearer than the cheap camera it replaced.

## Features

- Backup camera car license plate with a F1.8 wide aperture optical system with 6 full lenses and 135 degree wide viewing angle horizontal lens. The image without any distorted effect, you will get a real image when backing up. You can also check the invisible blind spot clearly and make parking safe and simple
- Surface mount backup camera holder supports waterproof IP rating IP69K. Designed with fully sealed glue filling, you absolutely don't have to worry about water, fog, or mist inside. Note: separately order a suitable harness to complete the installation if you connect it to a factory radio
- The rear view camera board supports CVBS and AHD video signal output (great for Android stereo). CVBS by default, cut the purple loop to choose AHD signal (AHD, 720P, 30fps). With starlight level night vision (0.005 Lux, excellent performance in low light), you never worry about parking during the night, rainy day or in dark garage
- Reverse hitch camera compartment and mounts are made of metal and stainless steel, small size with a 2-in-1 mount option (license plate or surface mount). Also features 3 multifunctional switching loops: cut the white loop for front viewing, cut the green loop to remove guidelines, and cut the purple loop to choose AHD video output
- Caution: According to our experience, some cheap or old Android sound devices have the AHD video signal input option setting, but in reality, they do not work because the internal hardware is not compatible. If yes, please use the standard CVBS video signal output (Don't cut the purple wire loop, otherwise you will get a black screen)

**Q: Can you use as front camera for sure 100%? I bought a different camera that said to the same cut wires to use as forward camera? Total lie!!!**

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An honest review
*by A***R on 21 February 2026*

I purchased this camera in 2021 and it’s worked perfectly for 5 years. The camera started up immediate after putting my vehicle in reverse, the picture quality and clarity was amazing. The installation on my truck wasn’t difficult as there are many YouTube videos on the install. Just several weeks ago I noticed some haziness when the camera was activated and eventually it got to point to where you couldn’t see a picture, but after 5 years of it working flawlessly, I would definitely recommend this camera and purchase again.
