**Q: Does the card use active or passive technology?**
A: No moving parts, no battery, so I would describe it as passive.

**Q: How would i know what frequency my cards use? this product won't work with: frequency from 100khz to 125khz.**
A: The best bet is to contact the manufacturer.

**Q: Has anyone tested these?**
A: Only testing I been able to do is use them and hope they are really more then a aluminum card. So bad things so far.

We got this for peace of mind. The blocking cards protects drivers licenses and credit cards. As you can see in the photo, it's the same size and thickness as a standard credit card and just one card protects your entire wallet. Just to be safe, we use two blocking cards in our wallet. When you want to tap and pay, make sure the blocking cards are three to five inches away from the credit card you are using. The blocking cards do not require batteries and never need to be charged to provide a lifetime of peace of mind. You can't beat the price - 5 blocking cards for under $10. One last thing: It's better to prevent a problem from occurring - than trying to clean up the mess. We never leave home without these. Five out of five stars!
