The cost is virtually nil and, by purchasing it, I don't have to purchase a new Bluetooth. Good deal! The vendors are not so good, though. I supposedly ordered from Elite Inc in Arizona. When I started trying to find out why I had not received the product in the 11 days I had been waiting (2 days longer than the latest ETA), the vendor responded as if they had actually sent the product. Once the product arrived 16 days after it was ordered, 15 days after Elite said it was shipped, and 14 days after it was actually shipped (well after it was due and needed for use on a 600+ mile trip), I found that it was shipped from Sapfire Inc in Brooklyn, NY. First, Elite responded to my query (saying that I desperately needed the product and wondered where it was and how it was sent and when, since it should have arrived, at least, 2 days earlier) by saying, "Hope all is well!" Then, they told me it could not be tracked because packages under 3 oz can't be tracked, but "don't worry the item will arrive shortly. Due to the weather changes, and the holidays the postal is running with some delays." I responded that all was not well and, in Texas, we were not aware of any bad weather in Arizona ... and that I was receiving regular first class mail and packages from delivery services (including UPS & FedEx) daily with no delays -- from all over the US. I conceded that I had had a package from NY delayed when NY and Dallas were both snowed in, but that 2 other packages had arrived from NY with no delay. At the time, I had no idea that NY was involved in this order. Now I know it was ... and wonder where my first-class USPS envelope was for 14 days. The printed letter that came with it looked OK, but the grammar and punctuation were terrible. If I didn't know it came from NY, based on the grammatical errors, I would have thought it came from overseas someplace -- which could have explained a delay! Again, the product is just as represented; however, there were other vendors selling the same thing. However, they pop off too easily. The hook itself needs to be longer to wrap more around the earpiece. If I try to adjust it while on my ear, it separates from the device. I have to start over, preset it, then, very carefully, ease it on my ear. I feel like I have to check it periodically to make sure the device is still there.However, after all of the adjustments, the ear hook hasn't broken so I will have to live with this annoyance.
