## Description

When lifx say candle they really mean it. This bulb has a world first tower of 26 leds inside it that creates a seemingly infinite canvas of color and light. Set flame mode inthe lifx app and it looks like a flame. Set morph mode and it looks like multicolored lava. Paint your own colors onto the surface of the bulb with your finger in the app must be seen to be believed. Oh, and it also lights things up really nicely in shades of white, if you're into that.

Review: Maybe I'm too much of a fan-boy for this review to be legit. - Love these little guys. Having a bulb that fits in the E12 fixture will make it so that I can put Lifx everywhere in the house. I got enough for a single chandelier in our house (6) and installed them. I had no problems setting them up (unlike some of the reviews I have read here). I have had problems with some of the lights I've purchased from Lifx before, but never to the point that I had to return. With that being said, I turned all of them on and they worked right away. The candle flicker is very cool and the Lifx app's Animate Theme is great for background lighting. While I have given 5 stars in the review, I do wish that they were a little brighter. Lifx DOES say that they are for decoration and not for functional light so be warned. I am a fan of having very bright light when I want it and the BR30s and A19s are barely bright enough. Anyways, these little guys put off a lot of light and I imagine that will be sufficient for most people. But if you are using them as the only source of light in a room, you might need to consider purchasing additional bulbs to add lumens or adding other sources of light to the room. Some other feedback that I think Lifx will address in time is next. I'd like to be able to control the individual zones on the bulb (similar to other multi zone lights from Lifx). Currently I can't find a way to do that. Also, having theme animations or some kind if Effect going tends to stop after a while. I think this has to do with the app (Lifx app) than the bulbs themselves and since I like running themes on these little bulbs with animation a lot. Lastly, and this is critical of the app, I'd like to be able to alter the color of the candle flicker fire effect. I run D&D games for friends in our house and having different color fire would be awesome. Suffice to say, Lifx will probably get these things fixed in an update to their app soon. I did feel that they helped other customers know what they are getting into. I have cash laying here for when they are available again so I can get another chandelier done in our house. Lifx for life!

**Q: Do these work with 5 GHz wifi?**
A: No, the LIFX Candle works on 2.4GHz. 2.4GHz is much better than 5GHz for the smart home because it provides longer coverage. 5GHz is better for high bandwidth activities such as streaming. Your router will likely support both, please check the specifications.

**Q: Do these bulbs work with Apple HomeKit or is it just through the app?**
A: I believe on/off and some color selection works through Homekit, but the multi-color mixing is only available through the app.

**Q: What does the flame mode actuallt look like?**
A: There are bulbs that do the flame look better. This cycles the colors across the surface. Everything else it does it pretty amazing

**Q: is this bulb 110\220 ? :)**
A: Hello, this product has a voltage range of AC 100-240V 50/60 Hz.

Love these little guys. Having a bulb that fits in the E12 fixture will make it so that I can put Lifx everywhere in the house.
