Most often, it would discharge itself, even while plugged in. When tend to travel a lot, which is why I have it. It's supposed to clean when we're not home. Most of the time, it didn't work consistently enough for that to be a reality. I often had to manually remove the battery and reset it because it seemed to discharge all the time. I've spent way too much time on something that should just work. Anyway, maybe this is a vacuum issue, more than a battery issue, but it's impossible to tell. As of now, the battery won't take a charge at all. It's maybe completed 10 cleaning cycles in over 6 months. Very pathetic. I'll try a new battery but most of these Chinese lithium packs use counterfeit lithium cells or defective cells that should have been rejected by the manufacturer.
