Unlike most moisture-wicking clothing, they have an extra internal layer to provide a layer of insulation, and the result is surprisingly warm yet very breathable. It’s not especially wind-resistant, but I wouldn’t expect it to be. I wore this for a long run under a *very* light windbreaker (which I believe to be an ideal pairing for wind + insulation + moisture wicking) in 15F weather with snow and relatively high winds, and I was more than warm enough. I was actually sweating, but this also kept me dry very effectively despite being thicker. Aside from thermals, the fit is excellent, materials feel luxurious and premium, it seems well-made and durable, and the internal lining is very comfortable on the skin. I love it for winter running and intend to make it my base layer for skiing.
