So I ordered this centennial model and am very glad I did. I filled the debris cannister to the top 8 times and recharged the vacuum 6 times to completely clear all of the sand and gravel debris from the bottom of our pool! The vacuum battery when fully charged worked for approximately 40 minutes each time. Cleaning between use and charging the device was a breeze and took no more than 5 minutes each time. I had the same issue, decided to order another vacuum, the same model. well, imagine my surprise when I discovered the company had changed the batteries, which also changes the plugs. I love how the vacuum works, however when I called the company, to inquire about a new charger, I was informed of this change, and that for 49.95 I could return the charger and have it repaired.
