It is most certainly a medium fast action with good snap making roll casting easy and will toss a line a reasonable distance. Don't expect big stream distance throwing with the rod. Use it for what it's made for and you too will be happy. Its fit and fish is excellent and I expect it to last a long time. For the price point.... HIGHLY Recommended.

I have wanted a small rod set up for small stream fishing in the mountains and this rod fits the bill well. It is most certainly a medium fast action with good snap making roll casting easy and will toss a line a reasonable distance. Don't expect big stream distance throwing with the rod. Use it for what it's made for and you too will be happy. Its fit and fish is excellent and I expect it to last a long time. For the price point.... HIGHLY Recommended.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Description is a bit deceptive

Seems like a great rod for the money so far. Description is a bit deceptive because the rod I received did not have a rose wood Reel seat it was some sort of brushed metal. I was a little disappointed for that reason but I understand that it is a lot cheaper to produce a rod with a metal reel seat. It’s a budget rod so I cannot complain but a wood seat would have looked pretty cool
