The Echo's power cord wraps through it, allow it to store any excessive length. **Q: Why did light go off after second use if i dontvask questions its not on i want some light whn its off** A: From my experience with my Echo stand/ base, it is yellow to alert you of a notification. When you ask it what your notifications are its blue. After you get all of your notifications the light is supposed to be off.
