Doesn't need a hub, if you have a new LED light (like me) then you don't need to use the capacitor either, tuya picked this up so quickly and without any issues and it connects so fast after a turning the power back on. I have a garage and workshop. At finishing time I lock up and move away, then realise I have left the lights on, which is very annoying so I decided to install a smart switch The first thing to do is turn the power off. Before I remove the old switch I took some pictures of the cables and label them.I had to replace the back box for a deeper one. Then I connected the new smart switch, turned the power back on to check before finishing off Everything worked fine and pleased with the job I had done. The pairing with smart life was easy

I've tried a few no neutral switches and I've had issues with them all, but this one is great. Doesn't need a hub, if you have a new LED light (like me) then you don't need to use the capacitor either, tuya picked this up so quickly and without any issues and it connects so fast after a turning the power back on. I'll defo be getting more!

### ⭐ Works fine for about a year then the physical switches gradually fail

worked fine for about 8 months then the physical switches started to become very unresponsive. You need to keep your finger on them for several seconds to get the switch to work. Then after another couple of months they stopped working altogether. The Wifi receiver still works and I can switch the lights on and off remotely, but the physical switches are useless. I have to buy another one now after less that 18 months as I need to have the physical switch option due to the location. Very disappointing if I'm going to have to spend £20 every 18 months!
