Review: It worked! - So, I genuinely thought our Red Earred Slider was gone. It was sitting at the bottom of the tank the night before and then the next day it was floating around lifeless. Once we took him out the tank, he started moving and I noticed his eyes were swollen shut. We immediately went into research mode and started a warm carrot bath. The next day, they were still shut so we moved to Plan B. Day 3 of no eating and eyes shut, we started the drops, Day 4- (day 2 of drops) and he opened his eyes slightly and started eating again- but his eyes still looked bad; Day 5- (day 3 of drops) and his eyes are back to normal and his activity level is back to normal! He’s running up to meet me at the glass. It will probably suck its head in its shell. Daily on both eyes if swollen, puffy, closed or red eyes. Weekly regularly. **Q: For my res does he have to stay out of water after i put his drops on?** A: I say yes. What ever is in the water is probably what irritated the turtles eyes. Clean the tank and let your turtle dry dock for a couple of hours. Follow the directions on the package. **Q: Will this help my bearded dragons eyes?** A: I don't know about bearded dragons.
