Compact yet undeniably powerful, this knife is a true workhorse designed to be an indispensable addition to any outdoor gear pack. Its versatile design makes it ideal for tackling a wide range of tasks with ease - whether it's precise camping chores, rugged hunting needs, or general utility work. Small in size but big on performance, this utility knife is built to handle whatever the outdoors throws your way. At the heart of the Mini Leatherneck fixed blade knife series is a rugged blade made from high-quality 8Cr13MoV steel, celebrated for its exceptional balance of sharpness, toughness, and corrosion resistance. Safety is a top priority, which is why each knife features a stainless steel guard with broad quillons. Inspired by its larger Leatherneck counterparts, the Mini Leatherneck's handle is crafted from durable Kray-Ex material. This textured grip is ergonomically designed for secure handling in any condition. Completing the Mini Leatherneck package is a tough and dependable Secure-Ex sheath. Review: Good value knife and delighted Cold Steel offers it - This is the largest, double sided knife (blade) length you can carry concealed in my state—unless hunting or fishing. So thank yo🇺🇸 Cold Steel for producing it! It’s full tang and comes very sharp—so sharp it’s become my Amzn unboxer. It’s a stout lightweight which means the blade has a little flex to it as compared to say the stiffness of my old school Kbar. The handle feels nice, grippy—in general it has a nice feel, but clearly it’s a little small for my bigger hand. However, that doesn’t bother me given its concealed nature/expected trade-off. Heck, I’d rather get my Kukuri in my boot if concealment wasn’t the objective! The blade guard is reliable and adequate in size along with the hole in the handle for additional fixing. Now, what I really like is the sheath. The top is wider/flanged making it guide the blade in as it slides very nicely down to a positive click/stop for solid retention. The total package price seems reasonable for the sheath alone. I did buy the “Cold Steel C-Clip Small (Pack of 2), Black.“ I can recommend this knife to others for all the reasons written. Review: Carry it on duty every day - Great for the money. Use it as a backup weapon for duty use. Great edge from factory. Fits well in my very average hands. Like the guard so I don't cut myself if I had to use it. Very stabby stab focused. Blade thickness might be an issue if you had to stab through multiple people and durability is a concern. But let's be real. No one is doing actual John Wick activities are carrying this knife. Love it. ## Features - COMPACT & POWERFUL - Compact yet robust, this Cold Steel Mini Leatherneck fixed blade knife will be an indispensable addition to any outdoor gear pack; Designed for versatility, they handle a variety of tasks with ease, from camping to hunting needs - RUGGED BLADE - Each knife in the Mini Leatherneck series features a 8Cr13MoV steel blade, renowned for its balance of sharpness, toughness, and corrosion resistance; The stainless steel guard, equipped with broad quillons, ensures finger protection - SOLID GRIP - Drawing inspiration from larger Leatherneck models, the Mini Leatherneck outdoor knives feature a Kray-Ex handle for a secure and comfortable grip; Whether your hands are wet, gloved, or bare, this textured material ensures optimal control - SECURE-EX SHEATH - Every Mini Leatherneck hunting knife comes with a durable Secure-Ex sheath, designed to withstand the rigors of the outdoors; This sheath will accommodate a bead lanyard and Cold Steel's versatile C-Clip for convenient carry options - SPECS - Weight: 3.1 oz; Blade Thickness: 3mm; Handle Length/Material: 3 1/4in; Long, Kray-Ex; Blade Steel: 8Cr13MoV; Blade Length: 3 1/2in; Overall Length: 6 3/4in; Knife Type: Fixed Blade; Length Range: 3-5 in; Steel Family: MoV; Blade Shape: Spear Point ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B09DLFMZGC | | Age Range (Description) | Adult | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Best Sellers Rank | #16,529 in Sports & Outdoors ( See Top 100 in Sports & Outdoors ) #24 in Fixed Blade Hunting Knives | | Blade Edge | Flat | | Blade Length | 3.5 inches | | Blade Material | Stainless Steel | | Blade Shape | Spear Point | | Blade Type | Fixed | | Brand | Cold Steel | | Brand Name | Cold Steel | | Color | Multi | | Customer Package Type | Tamper-Evident Cushioned Packaging | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 out of 5 stars 601 Reviews | | Hand Orientation | Ambidextrous | | Handle Material | Alloy Steel | | Included Components | Hunting Knives Fixed Blade | | Item Length | 6 inches | | Item Shape | Rectangular | | Item Type Name | Hunting Knives Fixed Blade | | Manufacturer | GSM Outdoors | | Model Name | CS-39LSAC | | Model Number | CS-39LSAC | | Number of Items | 1 | | Orientation | Pointing downwards | | Part Number | CS-39LSAC | | Power Source | hand_powered | | Product Care Instructions | Hand Wash Only | | Recommended Uses For Product | Hunting | | Reusability | Reusable | | Size | 3.5" | | Special Feature | Full Tang | | Special Features | Full Tang | | Style | Double Edge Spear Point | | Theme | Hunting | | UPC | 705442020004 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Age Range (Description):** Adult - **Blade Material:** Stainless Steel - **Brand:** Cold Steel - **Color:** Multi - **Handle Material:** Alloy Steel - **Included Components:** Hunting Knives Fixed Blade - **Model Name:** CS-39LSAC - **Recommended Uses For Product:** Hunting - **Special Feature:** Full Tang - **Style:** Double Edge Spear Point ## Images ![Mini Leatherneck Double Edge Spear Point Compact Lightweight 3.5" 8CR13MOV Steel Fixed Blade Outdoor Hunting Utility Knife, 3.25" Textured Ergonomic Kray-Ex Handle, Secure-Ex Sheath - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61BmDupG0TL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Style** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Anyone know the blade length?** A: The blade is 3 1/2" and the overall length is 6 3/4". I use it as a neck knife. They also make other models: one has a clip point and the other has a tanto point if you don't want a dagger. **Q: Is the blade flat on sone side like some of the Cold Steel daggers?** A: No. The blade has two sharpened edges the full length of the blade. **Q: Would this work for bushcraft?** A: My opinion would be no. it's too small for a lot of Bush Bushcrafting chores this is more suitable for self purposes. Check out the cold steel bushman it may work for your purpose 🤷🏻‍♂️ **Q: Is this 8cr ?** A: The blade steel is 8cr13Mov. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good value knife and delighted Cold Steel offers it *by P***R on October 12, 2025* This is the largest, double sided knife (blade) length you can carry concealed in my state—unless hunting or fishing.
