## Description

From the manufacturer DROWN ALL OPPOSITION MSI: For Gamers & Creators MSI is one of the most trusted names in gaming and esports with countless hours and significant resources invested into premier esports leagues and tier-1 gaming teams. By supporting and working with the best of the best, MSI is able to integrate competitive gaming knowledge and aspirations with technological innovation to create new products that shatter today's performance limits. MSI MAG CORELIQUID R-Series V2 AIO CPU liquid coolers combine versatile ARGB lighting options with innovative design features. Rotatable ARGB water block & ARGB radiator fans Pump-in-radiator design increases durability & dampens vibration 3-Phase pump motor eliminates undesirable resonance Split-flow radiator improves thermal dissipation Evaporation-proof tubing Mystic Light software supported (5V 3-pin) Compatible with Intel & AMD CPU sockets CORELIQUID V2 includes an LGA 1700 socket bracket 270° Rotatable Blockhead The water block features a 270-degree rotatable ARGB MSI logo that can be manually turned to align with any system orientation. The ARGB water block & fan lighting effects can be further customized through MSI Mystic Light software*. *Requires 5V ARGB motherboard header (3-Pin) Integrated Pump A radiator-mounted water pump helps dampen vibration and noise. Moreover, by moving the pump away from the primary heat source (the CPU), mechanical durability is significantly improved. A robust 3-phase motor dramatically decreases motor resonance, which in turn reduces vibration and extends the pump lifespan to 100,000 hours . Split-Flow Radiator High thermal dissipation within the aluminium radiator is achieved via a split-flow design that divides incoming heated water into 2 separate cooling paths of 4 channels each. Cooled water is subsequently recombined and pumped back to the compact water block (circular copper thermal-transfer plate, micro-channeled). Evaporation-Proof Tubing The 400mm water cooling tubes comprise of triple-layered netted plastic concealed beneath reinforced mesh sheathing to ensure that water stays inside the closed-loop system at all times. Quiet Performance The MAG CORELIQUID 240R V2's noise levels are exceptionally low even under full-loading conditions. Gross noise output (42 dBA) is on average 10% quieter than comparable AIO CPU coolers (47 dBA avg.). Fan noise levels (PWM): 14.3 ~ 34.3 dBA Pump noise level: 18 dBA AMD & Intel CPU Socket Compatible Intel CPU socket types supported LGA 1700 LGA 1150, 1151, 1155, 1156, 1200 LGA 1366, 2011, 2011-3, 2066 AMD CPU socket types supported AM4, AM3+, AM3, AM2+, AM2 FM2+, FM2, FM1 Includes thermal paste, mounting screws, and cabling.

Review: Effective cooler with display at good price - Ignore the photo as such as I took pictures during the build stage of this particular PC. I needed a cooler for this build but I didn't want to spend £100's on it, so seeing a cooler for £100 with an LCD screen, I thought "Well, it's rude not to.", so grabbed it I did. In terms of packaging, it's pretty much what you'd expect an AIO to be boxed in - you have all the necessary fittings for Intel or AMD - in this case, it went on an AM5 socket. Installation was easy as such - the cabling is a bit much but you should be able to see it was relatively clean even with multiple cables coming off the block. As per the description, there's a fan over the CPU plus the two on the radiator (RGB) which were wired directly to the motherboard. Having the PC set to auto, the fans are relatively quiet (there's 5 x 120mm fans on the PC plus the block fan, plus the 3 graphics card fans) and certainly aren't obtrusive. The CPU (7900X3D) sits around 47-50 degrees and hasn't seemed to get overly hot (which TBH is expected) - I don't keep too much of an eye on it but haven't seen it go above 60 - but again, not like I watch it like a hawk. Having RGB fans is fine (you can obviously turn them off or not even cable that side of things) and as yet I don't have any concerns from that perspective. The LCD is useful - you can have it displaying your favourite meme, or information like the CPU temps - the choice is yours. It's arguably a bit ostentatious but I like to build things I've never had/used so that I know if something works, works well or is garbage. I'm more than happy with this AIO though and would use it (or the 360) in another build quite happily.
Review: Great cooler, especially if you value customization - Great CPU cooler! It has a very premium feel, with high-quality materials, and the LCD screen is a lot of fun to customize - I didn't even miss RGB lights thanks to it. With that in mind, I'd say it was worth the price and would recommend it to anyone who wants a great CPU cooler and likes to have everything customized. One thing that I wish the manual told you is that, while screwing the 3 fans into the base, you shouldn't do it one fan at a time, but instead have all 3 fans in position with the screws right above their holes, and then alternate between tightening each of them little by little. If you do it one by one, you'll find that the rubber from one fan will end up covering the screw hole for the next fan due to pressure from the screws. Connecting the cooler to my AM5 CPU was quite easy, but you might want to use some cable ties for the cables that power the 3 fans, as they can be a bit awkward to manage and are quite a bit longer than they needed to be. While that's better than having cables that are too short, it would be nice if the fans plugged into each other magnetically so you only needed to connect a cable to one of them. But this is only a minor annoyance during installation, so the cooler still deserves 5 stars.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good quality cooler
*by M***O on 26 January 2024*

Installed this on a ryzen 7600x am5 cpu and does the job very well. It keeps cpu under 80 degrees all the time on heavy loads. It comes with pre applied thermal pad and clean instructions. The lcd screen adds a lot of style, is customisable and it gives you a lot of useful system informations such as cpu / gpu temps, load. Can also display a text or personalized animation on it. The fans are aRGB which and can be controlled via mysticlight or of your desired software. Only issue i had was the need to remove little corner rubbers on one side fron the radiator otherwise it wont fit in my msi mid tower case. The pump fan also does a noticeable noise but is perfectly normal.
