Meet the future of the X-Men! Karma. Wolfsbane. Sunspot. Cannonball. Moonstar. They're teenagers, thrown together by the X-gene that makes them different. Follow the adventures of these young mutants from Karma's first meeting with Spider-Man and the Fantastic Four to their early days at the Xavier School! The New Mutants' on-the-job training begins in earnest with battles against Sentinels, the Silver Samurai, Viper and the Hellfire Club; a team-up with Spidey and Cloak and Dagger - and the team gets a taste of life as X-Men in a disturbing encounter with the Brood! Plus: Meet fiery new recruit Magma, and discover how Colossus's sister, Illyana, became the demon sorceress known as Magik! Review: Great Book - Great introduction to the New Mutants Review: Great full color collection of the New Mutants origin - I had been reading a lot of the Essential X-Men books, which are great in their collection of continuous stories, but this graphic novel takes it two steps further. 1) It's in full color and really makes a much more engaging read with glossy pages. 2) It goes beyond just the first handful of issues of the series' chronology. It includes the first introduction of Karma in an issue of Fantastic Four, and then with the rest of the team's assemblage before taking you through their first 12 issues. An added bonus is the four part mini-series at the end, Magik: Storm and Illyana, that details the time Illyana spent trapped in Limbo and her journey to becoming a daemonic sorceress - extra nerd points! My only complaint was there wasn't a clear way on how to continue to read this story. Afterwards, I subscribed to Marvel Unlimited and regret nothing. ## Features - Item Trademark: MARVEL - manufacturer: Marvel Comics - Item Weight: pounds, pounds, 1.75, 1.75 ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Best Sellers Rank | #245,037 in Books ( See Top 100 in Books ) #2,865 in Superhero Comics & Graphic Novels | | Customer Reviews | 4.8 out of 5 stars 201 Reviews | ## Images ![New Mutants Epic Collection: Renewal - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81cZmdciu9L.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Book *by M***O on 13 April 2022* Great introduction to the New Mutants ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great full color collection of the New Mutants origin *by J***N on 10 December 2018* I had been reading a lot of the Essential X-Men books, which are great in their collection of continuous stories, but this graphic novel takes it two steps further. 1) It's in full color and really makes a much more engaging read with glossy pages. 2) It goes beyond just the first handful of issues of the series' chronology. ## Frequently Bought Together - New Mutants Epic Collection: Renewal - New Mutants Epic Collection: The Demon Bear Saga [New Printing 2] - NEW MUTANTS EPIC COLLECTION: ASGARDIAN WARS (The New Mutants Epic Collection) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.at/products/395899037-new-mutants-epic-collection-renewal](https://www.desertcart.at/products/395899037-new-mutants-epic-collection-renewal) --- *Product available on Desertcart Austria* *Store origin: AT* *Last updated: 2026-10-24*
