Works on a 2008 JEEP Liberty with slight modification.

*by A***S on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on May 15, 2015*

It works! I have a 2008 JEEP Liberty with an automatic transmission. I easily removed the OEM shift knob and installed this with slight modification to the inner universal sleeve. It is a shallow, plastic adapter sleeve that requires opening the top of the sleeve to have the knob to fully conform to the length of the shifter's shaft. I cut the top with a Dremel tool to allow for the sleeve to rest lower on the shaft. Once in place, use the longer threaded hex-bolts to affix the knob. It is going to take some cranking of the provided hex key to get it to be stationary, but the end result is a brand new pool ball shift knob for an automatic transmission JEEP.See, fun accessories aren't limited to manual-shift transmissions in this world.

    Awesome! But....

*by R***A on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on November 9, 2011*

Installation was easy! Installed this baby in my 1969 Volkswagen Beetle. The shade of blue isn't as light as it's shown in the picture, but it still looks great. Shade of blue is actually dark which was the only disappointment for me. I like how the font on the #2 is old fashioned. It does give off an older feel over the billiard balls you see nowadays. Billiard ball actually did come with different sizes for installation on the stick, so it worked out very well for me. Ball has three screws underneath to tighten against the stick. Does no damage. Can be removed anytime. Sweet!

Gives Lil' Blue a Swagger All Her Own

*by B***Y on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on November 15, 2014*

I purchased this for my '89 Toyota pickup, Lil' Blue, almost a year ago and it has held up extremely well. I have only had to tighten it up once and that was because I didn't tighten all of the set-screws when I first installed it. A great upgrade from the OE knob and gives Lil' Blue a swagger all her own. If I ever get another manual-transmission vehicle I would certainly consider purchasing another RockNob product.
