Works great, if you use the bow poorly enough, it can still snap into your forearm, but that is just user error; when done with proper technique, you barely notice it, and it protects well. The suede is good quality, and it's still breathable, so your arm isn't super sweaty. The fit is good, the agastable straps take a little getting used to, but they work great for big and small arms alike.
