I also bought PrestaCycle's small ratchet and extension. I wanted to keep the torque unit on for that purpose and not use all the time. I used a utility blade to cut out the foam and keep all this within the zipper case. I also bought the PrestaCycle hex to 1/4" adapter and made a cutout for that all well. It keeps them all together in a compact portable case. That’s a lot of torque being applied perpendicular to and on the ratchet gear.** A: My opinion as a 40 years of German made printing press mechanic and a hard user of few of these well made ratchets.I would never try to break loose or for final tightening of a bolt with Prestacycle ratchet or any other ratchet in either square or hex 1/4 range drive.I will break loose the bolt with another wrench and then use the ratchet for faster turning.So far I didn't use it as a T-wrench replacement and if I have to, I would use it only at loosen bolts or at adjustments screws which are never really tight. Because of the tight spaces in printing presses, along the Prestacycle, I have in my tool box 3 more 1/4 hex drive ratchets-Wera 8001A, Stahlwille 415SGB and the not so strong, but very useful with its angled double heads(1/4+5/16) Gearwrench micro driver.All these are super time saver. **Q: Where are these made?** A: Taiwan. Not China. I have the same tool from two other sources (O'Reilly and Topeak). Both of them specify Taiwan as the source. I have a positive feeling about Taiwanese ratchet mechanisms. It seems that tool companies from around the world go to Taiwan for ratchet wrenches. **Q: Will tool also drive 1/4" sockets** A: This tool has 1/4” hex socket for 1/4” hex bits.
