## Questions & Answers

**Q: Do we need 2 keypads one for inside the gate and one for outside the gate. We have UPS deliveries and we want the driver to have access both ways**
A: one inside and one outside is enough. I use the the hand held clicker on the visor of each car since I am too lazy to use the post. But other visitors need to use the posts. I also use a hand held device to open the gate from inside the house to let in and out package delivery agents.
my gate is 250 feet from the gate. the hand held device works fine for that distance though a window facing the gate.

**Q: Can the fm137 - digital keypad be used with liftmaster gate openers? the lm gate opener is simply plastic junk.**
A: Yes. I currently have a Mighty Mule FM137 Keypad linked wirelessly through a GTO Receiver to a Liftmaster Pro LA400 gate operator. It has functioned flawlessly now for almost 3 years.

**Q: does this need a receiver to operate?**
A: You do need the gate opener control box which i guess would be the reciever. This is basically another clicker like the one you keep in your car for the gate or garage door opener, instead of pushing a button you put in a code. It is wireless and uses batteries. I have only had to change the batteries once a year. My son uses it every day coming from bus stop. Hope this helps

**Q: Wha is the range of the remote? (how far from gate will it work?)**
A: And my keypAd About 50 foot from the gAte but A regulAr remote works About 300 foot

Great keypad for gate and easy to program

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Product, but Replacement Difficult
*by G***E on May 5, 2021*

This walk-up gate lock is the best product ever! We love having it on our driveway gate since it is too far from the house to use an electric gate lock. This one is perfect. Everybody who needs access to our property has their own code (including the Fire Dept./Sheriff/911). We have enjoyed safety and privacy for years with Mighty Mule. The only problem is when the actual keypad needed to be replaced. After some years of daily use, the punch-in numbers no longer punch in, so we ordered a new keypad unit to use with the lock that is still good. We discovered that new keypads all look alike on the OUTSIDE, but on the inside, there are differences. After speaking directly with the manufacturer and gathering this previously unknown information, we returned this new keypad to Amazon. Then we ordered the correctly keyed replacement directly from the manufacturer. If we'd known ahead of time, it would have saved that hassle, but it is STILL worth whatever it takes to have this GREAT safety/security device for our rural mountain road almost 1/2 mile from electrical service. We used to have some strange/scary vehicles driven by unknown "hooligans" coming to our front door. Now they can't get past our gate -- that is secured with our beloved MIGHTY MULE lock.
