The styles of artists cover a great variety, everything from the horrific, to the goofy, comic and beautiful. They include architecture drawings as well as creatures and people. This book, along with the, 'Fantasy," version have really had a great effect on my own work and have led me to be more greatly excited and productive. I keep these books in the bathroom so that whenever I am there I can go back and find more and more reasons to keep working. In a way it did but not the way i expected it too. This book is a compilation of other artist and the way they make their characters. They give a sense of background, they explain their inspirations and ideas, what materials they use, and how they start or do their sketching and their techniques. It also shows some of their sketches.
