They do sometimes slide up on the strap and when I take my shoes off I just push it back down and it sticks again. (Narrow heal) **Q: I have a heel with a toe strap that’s a bit hard and will likely produce a blister, the shoe fits perfectly will this strip help prevent blistering??** A: I’m uncertain if this will work for you.I don’t think it will adhere properly to the toe strap, in addition to being aesthetically pleasing. In the past I purchased a thong toe protector that slid over the toe strap and stayed in place due to its cylinder shape. It was made of a translucent rubber/plastic and had a slit to make it easy to apply. I used the Foot Petals Strappy Strips for a pair of sandals that had straps that were cutting into my foot. I applied the strips under the area that was painful and it resolved my issue. **Q: Will these keep your sandals from slipping with panty hoes on!?** A: Good question. I did use the strips with pantyhose on and I did experience a little slippage in the heel due to the hosiery flexing / sliding. The strips worked better against bare skin/heel. They are soft and you don’t even know they are there. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Did exactly what I hoped *by A***. on July 23, 2013* I bought a pair of (non-strappy) sandals from an online vendor. Unfortunately, while they fit just fine, the back strap tended to slip down and under my heel while wearing. Because I'd worn them out for a whole day, I couldn't return them. Enter the Foot Petals Strappy Strips. I was a little skeptical, since they were for strappy sandals and mine weren't. But the price was right. And lo, they worked! I had to use two per sandal (one along the top and one along the bottom of the back strap), but they absolutely kept my sandal strap up where it belonged. I do find that taking my sandals off and on requires a little more care, or else the cumulative friction will cause the top Strappy Strip to gradually ease off the strap and become visible. I'm on my second Strip on one sandal. But they stay adhered quite well.
