If there are Tar & Iron spots on your paint that haven’t been chemically removed before had you run the risk of marring your paint. Tar is basically little stones attached to your paint. If you do not remove them before claying, you will ultimately rub those little stones across your paint with your clay. After you are done washing your car, use a tar remover then rinse with a pressure washer. Next, use a iron remover to chemically decon the built up iron particles mainly on your lower half of the vehicle and on the rear. Rinse again. Finally, you can begin your claying process.
