When working with very small items on the smallest 'finger' it will not tighten to the point where the brass will not move when I go to make the bend. One of the biggest changes I have seen in the hobby is the introduction of photo etch. This media provides for absolutely amazing results that is really impossible to achieve with just plastic or resin. However as you know if you are going to use photo etched parts you need to have VERY good eyes and have A LOT of patience. Most of the time the photo etch pieces are small and very difficult to manipulate. This little gizmo helps in that area. While it may look strange and complicated it is not. The knob unscrews and you place the part. place the appropriate sized "fork" over the part, replace and tighten the knob and them use a hobby knife or similar tool to bend the part. Easy! No muss and no fuss and no little part flipping into oblivion onto the carpet or some other location unknown. Very easy to use and worth every penny.
