I used 2 of these filters versus only 1 of the Zero filters for the same amount of water. **Q: how much water can clean 1 filter?** A: It depends on how many contaminates and dissolved solids are in your water supply. For me I have close to 600 total solids and contaminates in my water supply. This number comes from a digital tester I purchased. The filters only cleaned 15 gallons of my water. So if your water has very little to clean out; I would think that it would clean more than 15 gallons of water. Hope this helps. **Q: Has anyone received lab results or a reply regarding filtration data from this company?** A: I haven’t gotten lab results, but my TDS meter reads zero after filtration, whereas your average bottled water reads between 20-30ppm TDS. **Q: Do these filters remove lead from water?** A: This listing I am responding to is under the ZeroWater compatible filters made by Aqua Crest. ZeroWater lists over 20 things their product filters out and specifially how much it filters. Aqua Crest lists chlorine 98%, I think that is about it. ZeroWater passes and lists NSF certification. Aqua Crest states: "Parts of filters have passed NSF certification." ZeroWater removes 99% of lead and other things that may be worse for you. Aqua Crest? Who knows? ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ So Far, So Good *by J***A on Reviewed in the United States on 8 October 2024* I’ve used “Zero Water” filters for years. My water measures 170ppm unfiltered. The ZW filters have become very expensive AND they can be annoying to use. The ZW filter only has a single output hole. After about 3 months in use, the filter stops flowing water but the water quality still reads 0 ppm. So, whenever I fill the pitcher, I would bang the sides of the filter a few times with my fist to shift the media inside a little. Doing this allowed the filter to last about 5 months before the dissolved solids started to climb. I thought I would test this non-ZW filter. The pricing is much better and the dissolved solids measures 0 ppm out of the box. These filters also have 2 output holes. The water flows much faster. I will continue to monitor the performance and update this review. We’ll see if we can squeeze 5 months out of this. Installation was identical to the ZW filter. No problems there. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works like the original *by J***M on Reviewed in Canada on 3 July 2024* There is no difference between this and the original when it comes to results. It functions exactly the same. But the price is so much better. The top looks slightly different than the original filter but the reading comes up the same as 000 TDS .I recommend this to anyone with a ZW system. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Each cartridge Lasted 9 1/2 days *by W***E on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 30 September 2024* We could not tell the difference between these and Zero water but they only lasted 19 days for 2 x cartridges.
