I've never done AC work like this in a car. I replaced the compressor, orifice tube, drier/accumulator, and condenser. I used this kit to flush the evaporator and the 2 hard lines being reused. I ended up screening/filtering and reusing much of it so I could flush each part multiple times. The first flush on my evaporator came out dirty/grey so I discarded it, but everything else came out clear so I filtered reused it. Just something to keep in mind. I think blew compressed air through the parts to dry them out. The flush fluid I used evaporated very quickly (I spilled some on the shop floor) and didn't leave any residue, I highly recommend it also. What additional parts are needed to accomplish this?** A: Yes, you can use the air compressor. The only thing required that’s not in the kit is a cupping for your air compressor hose. What ever size cupping you have and what type. And flush solvent of course. **Q: Are Instructions on Procedure included in this kit?** A: THIS kit I do highly recommend, hook, extra nozzle, all worked great, I used teflon tape to make sure nothing leaked by chance. There aren't any flush directions to use on the car, there are some for can use, but this was my 2nd time flushing an AC so I knew my way around. But I can help a bit - for the most part there's 6 connections, #1&2-in/out to the condenser, this is the most important bcz it will be the most clogged. #3&4-Next is line to and from the compressor-blow these out - dont blow out the compressor, it'll damage it, then #5&6-the line to/from the drier. If doing a full flush, replace the drier, they are cheap & many reasons why ask where you buy the flush fluid. Replace all o-rings, a pkg made your your specific vehicle aren't too pricey & that most likely the reason it leaked in the first place. Use a can of brake fluid, spray in to loosen if needed-before using the fluid, the extra blow valve can be used for this purpose w/out the can to blow out before adding flush fluid - the flush will blow out the brake fluid. The flush can is only 32oz. & when this bottle is pressurized it uses the flush very fast, so monitor &use carefully. Also you will need a HDcompressor line to use the bottle, it needs to be around 100psi so there plenty of strong air to force the clog out, get the fluid in and flush it through too. Use dropcloth or towel/something on the exit end, the old AC oil & freon will blow everywhere, plan to degrease the car afterwards is my suggestion. Best of luck, it's a simple project, but don't rush it, degrease, replace all orings, assemble and use gauges to suck the air down to negative PSI for the right amount of freon and oil. Internet provides the exact AC oil & ounces and amount of freon to replace for your specific car, easy to find, there's a site that lists every car made. It is very specific to each car, no more, no less. And replace the orfice tube filter (will have to remove anyway before flushing) do it carefully and dont break it off - loosen with wd40 and soak, they are cheaper from a certain big online car parts place, it keep the system filtered for a better lifespan, it should be in the line connection between the condenser and drier. I hope this helps, ck YT for other info, even is not car specific methods are the same anyway. **Q: can i put nitrogen in this tank** A: It's only rated to 150 psig **Q: What thread is on the end of the yellow hose? can you buy a longer hose?** A: Maybe so, but since your using (or should) 100psi to get the best results, would not want to change the yellow line. That's 100 psi coming from the bottle with fluid. I'm sure its rated for this use, changing might not be to your advantage, but if the new line is the same rated, I don't see why not, up to you, but I would think it through.
