**Q: What are specs for the ac adapter?  also, when you press the light button does it stay on until you press again?  thanks!**
A: The battery-operated alarm clock and the light is turned off a few seconds after pressing the button.Regards

**Q: Does it have timer ?**
A: Yes, it does.  It's cumbersome to use, but so is setting the time, but you just press the mode button, it will show the date.  Press it again and it goes to timer.  You can set the seconds, minutes, then hours, but once it starts, I couldn't figure out how to abort, and had to reset it, and redo setting the time...  So, it's just not worth the hassle.

**Q: Can you remove the legs that it stands on so that it's just the block?**
A: Yes, the stand can be removed.
