Review: This was huge time saving and errors went away. Don't hesitate, this is a great product. - I always wanted one of these. Once you use it you're hooked. I made my own bar codes so doing inventory was simple. No need to type out long items and risk making mistakes. It works extremely well, easy to use, scans predictably, reads printed bar codes and if it's too noisy there is a bar code to scan to reduce the noise level or mute. I used it corded and blue tooth. No issues.
Review: Good scanner - After we figured out the quirks of a wireless scanner. It works great wireless or wired. It takes no time to charge and the charge last a long time. It works great for what we use it for.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The review for Walmart OGP/Stockers
*by I***O on January 20, 2022*

Seldom do I review much of anything I buy from this site, but given there's not a lot of information about my specific use case for this, I'd figure I'd leave one for anyone that happens to be curious and is in a similar position. Context: I'm an overnight Walmart Team Associate, five nights a week, and I stock shelves all night long. A majority of my nights are spend in the Frozen food isles stocking there and creating inventory tags for the product. (Vizpick Label if you're familiar with the terminology.) We recently had been shipped Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro phones to replace the old TC70 and ect, handheld devices we use to find items, print labels, price changes, and so on. This was company wide, btw. The old devices had a barcode scanner built into it, but these new devices don't. While it's possible to use the camera, it's often a pain depending on the lighting, the focus, the item itself, just slower overall. Most of the workers are obviously annoyed at this, and there's no plans to send any scanners with the phones as far as I know. There's an argument to be made about workers having to purchase this kind of stuff, that the company should be paying for this, but this review isn't about that. I had cashback stacked on my Prime rewards card so I hardly paid for this. If you're looking for something for a very similar use case, or work at Walmart in a similar position, and don't care dropping the $35 for a scanner, read on. The scanner itself is obviously not top-tier engineering, cheap plastic, could use some grip for the handle. Kind of bulky, but I have a tool holster and it fit in the widest hook pretty well. The button has maybe 2MM of travel before it clicks, but it's not bad. Got some weight to it, not as much as the hand-scanners at the registers. On the bottom is where the USB dongle is stored, but there's no cover for it. I just left it in the box. The USB cable plugs into the bottom as well, uses a big 'printer cable' USB port. I'm unsure if you can use the cable for a printer, and probably would have tested it if I had one. Also, the USB port is exposed. While the port itself is about half an inch deep, I wouldn't be surprised if it died because some liquid got into there. Be mindful of that. The light on top has at least 3(?) colors. When you initially plug it in to charge, it'll probably be orange, but turns to green when it's completely full. Pressing the button once wakes it up. Assuming you're using the bluetooth, it'll sync to your phone the same as pulling out any wireless earbuds. But sometimes it takes a moment, it's been as short as 5 seconds, but sometimes takes 15-20. Not sure why, as there's no other devices paired to the phone. Once it's on and connected, the light turns blue, and that's it. It handles the barcodes by acting like a bluetooth keyboard. When you scan a barcode, it types it out, then presses enter. I haven't read through the manual to see if it can be tweaked, but for the most part is consistent. Sometimes it can scan only half of the barcode, so be sure the red line light is picking up the whole barcode. Also, time to bring up the manual. Somewhat not as bad broken English, if you're tech savvy and have comprehended my review up to this point, it's not hard to set up. To change any of it's settings, (Sleep time, bluetooth mode, ect,) it has a series of barcodes that you scan to set those settings. It's strange, but given it only has one button, I don't know how else it could have been done without a computer. (Maybe a dedicated BT button?) All you really do is scan a barcode that puts it into bluetooth pairing mode, and have your phone pair it like any other bluetooth device, didn't take long and was ready to go in only a minute. So, for the Walmart workers that know about the new phones and how handling inventory works, well, it's more consistent than the camera. Assuming you're in the Me@Walmart app and in the shelf availability menu, you just hit the search icon, then scan. It types it in and hits enter. Given I had the phone a week before getting the scanner, I can say for me it's been a lot more faster and consistent. If I'm printing vizpick labels for overstock, after I hit print, I hit the search again so I'm ready to scan another item immediately after. It's held up well in other departments from pets to automotive, from garden to housewares. For OGP, I'm not too familiar with, and they haven't taken away all of our old devices for OGP (yet,) but every OGP associate that uses a phone has told me it'd be better given the sleep time for the scanner could be set to up to 30 minutes. I should also mention the manual has a barcode to turn it off manually, might have to print it out with some online barcode creator, or a good picture on your phone. As far as battery life goes, sleep mode being 1 minute and using it at least 2 hours a day roughly, it's lasted 10 days over 2 weeks of work. I did notice it drained the phone's batter a bit more, but I charge it when I wake up before work anyway, so it's never been a big issue. Durability, still unsure of. I did drop it once from about 3 1/2 feet, onto concrete, and didn't have or see any issues. Dunno about the next fall, but will update it when it does fall and break. --- Overall, it's been pretty good. My main issues are the cheap plastic possibly falling apart on a really bad fall, the exposed USB charging port at the bottom, and the scanner only picking up part of the barcode. But otherwise, it's been consistent, faster, and the night I walked into work with it, I felt like the cool kid at school that got a Gameboy for his birthday, and everyone was asking to try it out and in envy that I have a scanner with a decent handle. I'll update this review if anything comes up, but overall, if you're a Walmart worker looking for a cheap scanner for freight, labels, and tagging stuff, this is a good option if you can get over it being slightly bulky.
