A nice distraction to keep on a handy shelf. There are lots of smaller spaces but not as blindingly tiny as the supposedly relaxing micro patterned coloring books for adults that would send me to the funny farm. A sharp colored pencil is best. the paper quality is high. I chose the Modern Art volume. It can be rather geometric, but it is a good distraction if you're needing to get away from boredom or unpleasant tasks. I have not yet completed a full page, but instead spend maybe 5-15 minutes on one, and have started a second for a bit of a change. It's still better than most I've seen.

My daughter, age 37, was ecstatic to receive the Modern Art Vol. I book. She enjoys coloring as a stress reliever. The book has heavy paper pages for use with most types of coloring tools. The images of interpreted works of art are beautiful.

I colored in it but I didn’t like a lot if the patterns. Some of them were missing connections and were hard to color. Liked the Van Gogh alot

Excellent purchase. Sturdy and well-made. Clear outlines make for easy fill. A good variety of selections. A careful colouring or painting can be removed and framed. Pick your best!

My disabled older sister who is 81 has loved this book. She has done some creative coloring with this book. And it has a ring binding allowing you to easily remove the picture and lay the book flat.

The color variety is endless due to the variety of artist's renderings used in this binder. The pictures are quite large so be prepared to use a lot of color pencil. Keep your sharpener close by, you'll need it. There are plenty of great pictures to color but some are of people, too many of people. The binder makes this book easy to color, not having to hold a previous page down to color the current. The pages are thick so you can use mixed media, color pencils, markers, gel pens, water color pencils, etc., layering. I'd like to see more coloring books with this construct, with a greater variety of pictures, not just based on themes. I enjoyed using this coloring book/pad.
