Metin Bektas does a fine job explaining the equations from physics, mathematics, and economics. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Interesting and Diverse *by R***E on November 9, 2013* This book provides a short overview of some common and less common formulas used in physics, math and economics. Each formula is introduced and then applied in several examples. Most of the sections are separate, making it possible to get in and out of the book without losing the "story". The explanations are well-written and easy to follow, you should be able to understand them without special knowledge. And the choice of formulas is diverse, there's always something new and interesting to discover. However, I'll only rate the book 4 stars because I felt that it missed depth in some parts. For example, I would have loved to have the historical background to the formulas or some more information on where they are applied.
