I will say, the water holes are in areas that often come in contact with my child’s mouth, so I can see where If they become moldy that would be a HUGE issue, but I try to make sure they aren’t holding any water.I did read the info and reviews befor buying, and knew when buying this item that it would not stick to my textured walls. Trying to grab a million floating toys in the bathtub while juggling a squirmy/slippery baby. My 9 month old plays with them in the tub and in her little baby pool. If you follow the included instructions and don't have some bumpy tile in your shower it should easy attach to the wall or tub.
