To make the corners (so the finials wouldn't get in the way), I used this same company's little Bay Window corner connector thingy. That seemed super confusing to me at first, but once I tried installing it, it was very easy and 100% solved my problem and gave me the wrap-around look I wanted. I like the style, which in unobtrusive and frankly looks like it cost a lot more than it does. I only wish I'd found these before I put in rods I like slightly less throughout my entire house!
