The covers are heavy enough that it stays closed when I'm transporting it. Have dropped it a couple of times and it did it's job. I have a fun Galaxy print on mine and the print has stood up well to a lot of use. I've been extremely happy with my cover - especially given the price. The only thing I can see wearing out soon is the fabric stylus pocket on the back - sooner or later, I'll be poking through it and will need to replace the cover or find a way to reinforce the pocket but I'll have gotten more than fair use from it by then. I'm happy. Bottom line - I don't think you'll miss a magnetic closure. :) **Q: Is this considered safe to use since Remarkable advises against the use of magnetic cases? It supposedly creates dead spots** A: Hello! It’s perfectly safe! My remarkable hasn’t faulted at all. It snaps into a holder, so there’s no direct contact with the magnets! I love it! **Q: Just bought one. If I fold the cover behind the tablet to read, is the spine going to hold up? It doesn't feel like it's made to fold that way.** A: I don't use the tablet to read that way ...but it's not so heavy. And as I've just tried it, it seems to work.
