Review: Great dog collar for training - This collar is very durabil. I have a big lab and it works great on him. It does not hurt him at all. The thickness is just right for him and the size is very easy to add or remove links. Training with collar is much better then using a flat collar that will hurt the dogs neck. The points do not hurt them at all. The value that you get for the money that you spent is great. I have had mine now for a couple years and it still works great.

**Q: Please tell me how the add-a-link can be added to an existing collar.**
A: You bend the collar at the joint between two links, bending in so the "teeth" come closer and then twist it to unclip the connections. This is the answer sonia.g gave below, and I tried it and it worked fairly easily

**Q: How many links come in 1 order of extras?**
A: Only 3 It is a far wiser move to purchase an extra collar.

**Q: How many links are in large collar?**
A: There are eight collar links plus two end links in the large collar. The Add-A-Link package comes with three links.

**Q: i got the add a link but have a small collar.. will this fit that?**
A: The small Add-A-Link fits the small collar, and the large Add-A-Link fits the large collar.

I would up buying the size small and then purchasing extra size small links. The small size width is much better suited to my dog. The links assemble into the collar very easily. I like the starmark better than using a prong. I think it is safer.
