These are very good filters for my pour over coffee brewer. They are nice and thick and don't allow the coffee to go through so fast that you lose flavor. They give me a nice clean great tasting cup of coffee. They are much thicker than the average filter you purchase in the store shelves. They really do a nice job.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Interesting Filter for Experimental Pour Over Folks

The Abaca filters have a distinct texture/weight to them. You can expect these to pour a touch faster. If you taste slightly acidic coffee, try grinding slightly finer than you would with Hario or Kalita filters. Sizing is accurately 02 (2-4 cups). Paper taste is minimal compared to other brands. I’ve been brewing mainly on Cafec (this one) filters and it’s been a fun change for me. Tastes slightly cleaner, but like I said - it drains a bit faster so stay open minded on changing your technique! Expect 4-5 cups of fine tuning yo dial it down. Last bonus tip for ceramic/metal drip users (not plastic) - when your water starts to steam (200F and above) take the kettle lid off and put your dripper over the steam for 15ish seconds, and brew immediately before it cools back down. This will heat up your dripper so the heat that is needed to extract coffee will not be stolen by cold dripper. This tip will give you much less sour coffee - something that might be more important if you use a fast draining filter and lighter roasted coffee. Happy drinking!
