Review: Really pleased - First off arrived well in advance of the time quoted. They are really comfortable and block out the noise well. I use them for clay pigeon shoot. You can also hear comfortably with them on and can turn it up as well if needed! If you play music through them they seem reasonable. Not aa good as maybe a dedicated music headphone but certain more than OK for what they are used for! Really happy with my purchase! Review: BEWARE - Had a problem with the case not charging. Not charging the earbuds and also not charging the case itself. Customer service was extremely easy go deal with and made it right immediately. I used to use them as my everyday but now just use them for the range. I would 100% recommend these. All electronics will malfunction from time to time, what matters is if the company makes it right. These guys do! ## Features - DIMENSIONS: Single ear bud (1” L x 1” W x 1” D), charging case (3” L x 1.5” W x 1.5” D) and 0.3 lbs total - SPECS: Experience high quality stereo sound while confidently protecting your hearing with 25 NRR (Noise Reduction Rating) - COMFORTABLE: Featuring multiple size tips, you’ll find a custom fit for your ear to ensure proper noise cancellation and hearing protection. Mostly for hunting.** A: I can’t speak from a hearing-loss standpoint, but for me with “average 40-yr-old hearing” I usually have them on the lowest “amplified” setting. So I would guess there is a lot of room to turn them up. **Q: Are these idea for ear protection while training with firearms?** A: These were designed for ear pro for guns. They are rated for 25db, most earmuffs are 22-25db. I just got mine today and the look like they work just as well as my howard leights. But i haven't been to the range yet. **Q: Are these sweat resistant?** A: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have worn them for hours while hunting in some warm weather while perspiring profusely and they have kept on working. **Q: How long does a charge last?** A: More like 2 hour now my charger box broke now how do your charge now????? ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Really pleased *by D***. on 8 April 2023* First off arrived well in advance of the time quoted. If you play music through them they seem reasonable. Not aa good as maybe a dedicated music headphone but certain more than OK for what they are used for! Really happy with my purchase! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ BEWARE *by W***8 on 18 May 2023* Had a problem with the case not charging. ### ⭐ Terrible Customer Service *by S***N on 6 December 2023* I have tried to contact Caldwell for two separate reasons. Have not been able to get a hold of them or had them reply to an email. The phone number says "calling outride office hours" no matter when it's called. Cannot request email response because form asks for Postal Code but because can not input Province, form can't be completed and sent. As for the product itself, was working great then one hour into day, left earbud loses all power (had been fully charged) Right worked as normal. At the end of the workday, placed in case to charge. Next am, all charge out of case, cannot charge case when plugged in. Tried multiple plugs and multiple cords but not charge capable. Still have not heard from Company on what to try next. ## Frequently Bought Together - Caldwell E-MAX Shadows Pro - Electronic Hearing Protection with Ambient Sound Amplification, Bluetooth, and Rechargeable Case for Target Shooting, Range - Splatterburst Targets - 10 pack 2.54 cm Stick & Splatter Self Adhesive Reactive Shooting Targets - Gun - Rifle - Pistol - AirSoft - BB Gun - Pellet Gun - Air Rifle - Caldwell Dead Shot Filled Rear Shooting Bag - Green --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.at/products/419915695-caldwell-e-max-shadows-pro-electronic-hearing-protection-with-ambient](https://www.desertcart.at/products/419915695-caldwell-e-max-shadows-pro-electronic-hearing-protection-with-ambient) --- *Product available on Desertcart Austria* *Store origin: AT* *Last updated: 2026-10-13*
