At any rate, I loved these boots on sight. I'm no cowboy, but if I'm not in shorts and a t-shirt, then it's jeans, t-shirt, cool jacket, and some boots. I've got some low cut dress sorta boots, but these just looked good. I read all the reviews concerning width and size, and decided to give it a shot. I've got normal feet; average width and normally wear an 11 in everything; sneakers, sandals, etc. That said, the consensus was to order a half size smaller. So I did. Amazon warehouse had a like new pair; size 10.5, normal width. Got them today and they fit perfectly. The length thing was spot on. Order a half size smaller. The width wasn't an issue. They're perfect. No problems putting them on or pulling them off. That said, some break in will be required, but still comfortable. I had read that the inserts weren't removable. Not true. I'm an old army guy that's had plantar fasciitis, so I buy a pair of Powerstep inserts for everything but sandals. It took me ten seconds to remove the included inserts and put the Powerstep inserts in. Boom; arch support and super comfortable. No issues. The color was exactly what the picture showed. So, while I can't speak for everyone, this was a positive buy for me. They look and feel amazing.
