I hold 5 other GCP certifications, and this book is one of my essential tools when I renew the ACE exam as required by Google. Whether you're getting up to speed, closing some weak areas, or just brushing up for the associate level exam when you've moved on to architecture/management, this book is an excellent review. The second edition makes several improvements over the first edition. There's a precision and efficiency to the writing style. The initial assessment, chapter-by-chapter review questions, and custom practice exams (online) are absolutely essential in assessing your readiness to take this exam. As the rear of the book says, if you can pass both 100-question online exams that come with the book at 90%, you're ready to take and pass the exam. This aligns with my experience. This may not be the best material for someone trying to cram...there is a certain level of assumption that you have some basic hands on experience with GCP, but does not assume or require you to know all areas in order to get up to speed.
