So he asked for a camera and we got this for him. He had no trouble using it with no help at all (he already navigates Gizmo, iPad, desertcart Fire, and Apple TV with ease). He loves to take pictures! "Say cheese" he says. He loves the flip-back lens to take selfies. He can flip through his pics and play the silly sounds. I can import them into a Mac mini with no trouble and then show them on the big TV to his delight. He has access to the camera without asking permission so it gets bounced around plenty and is doing fine. He loves using the tripod and the camera also fits a standard tripod fine. When I put my iPhone on a tripod for some occasion, he will put his camera on a tripod too to play along. I got a microSD chip for it which didn't cost much so he can shoot shoot shoot. Don't order a microSD until you get the camera to be sure you get exactly the correct type. There was zero set-up for the micrsoSD, it just worked. I rated picture quality a 5 because this is an inexpensive kid's camera and quality is fine for that. Review: Perfect - My daughter is in love with her camera. She's truly happy with this product. 10 out of 10. The photos come out perfect, beautiful, like they were taken with a professional camera. ## Features - Create your own awesome videos on this HD video camera with a built-in microphone and special effects like time-lapse video; set to English or Spanish - Swap in 20+ animated backgrounds to get chased by a T-Rex, go to outer space or become invisible with the included green screen fabric - Comes with easy on-camera editing, creativity tools and a tabletop tripod/selfie stick - Video can only be uploaded to a computer via the included USB cable at an adult's discretion; green screen required for some special effects - Intended for ages 5+ years; requires 3.7-volt rechargeable lithium ion battery, included; recharge battery with included USB cable ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B09V54W69S | | Age Range Description | 5+ Years | | Best Sellers Rank | #22,521 in Toys & Games ( See Top 100 in Toys & Games ) #44 in Kids' Cameras | | Brand Name | VTech | | Color | Pink | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 out of 5 stars 5,722 Reviews | | Educational Objective | Creativity, Early Development, Imagination Development, Self-Expression | | Included Components | Green screen fabric, convertible tripod/selfie stick, KidiZoom Creator Cam, internal rechargeable battery, USB cable, wrist strap, parents' guide | | Item Dimensions | 1.06 x 3.58 x 2.4 inches | | Item Type Name | Creator cam. | | Item Weight | 14.08 ounces | | Manufacturer | VTech | | Manufacturer Part Number | 80-531830 | | Manufacturer Warranty Description | 90 Day Warranty Against Manufacturer Defects | | Manufacturer recommended age | 5 - 10 years | | Material Type | Plastic | | Model Number | 80-531830 | | Number of Batteries | 1 Lithium Ion batteries required. She's truly happy with this product. 10 out of 10. The photos come out perfect, beautiful, like they were taken with a professional camera. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Realistic, real working, kids camera *by C***N on November 18, 2023* Each of my 4 smaller children has one of these cameras. I bought three last year for the holidays for them and my oldest of the 4 decided he wanted one this year so I made another purchase for one. My children are ages 6-8-9- and 10. We are a low media family and none of my children have phones, tablets, or anything like it. The cameras are and have been a huge hit here. They have played with these cameras nearly every day for a year now. They really enjoy making funny videos of each other. The phone looks and is high quality, Super easy to use, VERY durable, and the battery life is wonderful. My children have dropped these cameras countless times. Some of them have been left outside overnight and once in the rain. I thought the camera left in the rain was a goner, nope! That thing is still working like new. The camera looks cool. Image quality is great. The only con I can recall is the video recording time. I wish it recorded longer videos. ## Frequently Bought Together - VTech KidiZoom Creator Cam, Glitter Pink - Kid Toy Camera Case for VTech Kidizoom Creator Cam Video Camera, Hard Travel Carrying Storage with Accessories Pocket - Black - SanDisk 32GB (Pack of 2) Ultra microSDHC UHS-I Memory Card (2x32GB) with Adapter - SDSQUA4-032G-GN6MT [New Version] --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.at/products/425427747-kidizoom-creator-cam-glitter-pink](https://www.desertcart.at/products/425427747-kidizoom-creator-cam-glitter-pink) --- *Product available on Desertcart Austria* *Store origin: AT* *Last updated: 2026-10-08*
