## Description

The SeaSense Bilge Pump Plumbing Kit is a complete kit. The bilge pump kit includes a plastic bilge hose, plastic thru-hull fitting and two stainless steel clamps. This bilge pump is intended for use above waterline only and the size is 1 1/8 inch in diameter and 6 feet long.

Review: Great value if you buy duing the off season - this is a good kit and an exceptional value during the off season but the price almost doubles when the season starts. This kit contains 6 feet of plastic hose, a stainless steel clamp and a through-hull fitting. I paid more for three feet of the same kind of hose at a marine supply store than I paid for this entire kit in the off season. It's decent quality and works well with my Sea Sense bilge pump to keep my 12-foot boat clear of rain water during the winter when I'm not using it.
Review: Fit & Worked perfectly - Worked as described perfectly. thanks

## Questions & Answers

**Q: would this work to empty water out of a boat my uncle turned into a backyard pond?**
A: It would work fine, as long as you have a 12 V power source to hook it to the pump is running. I use one to empty my fish pond out.

**Q: I need to put a ball valve on this between my tsunami 1200 and my sluice, any recommendations? Could this hose accommodate a 1-1/4 inch barbed adapte?**
A: My guess is that should work. The hose is correlated with straight sections every so often my guess would be every 18 inches or so.. Hope this helps.

**Q: what size hole do i drill to install this?**
A: I'm not sure of the correct size. Take your thru hull to the hardware store and match it up with one.

**Q: Can i use this hose for "seasense hand bilge pump hose" ? i need a longer hose than what came with my bilge pump.**
A: No, its not threaded like the one that comes with the hand bilge pump

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Bilge Pump Plumbing kit
*by I***R on January 20, 2017*

Seems fine, if a bit on the cheap side. Not sure how the through-hull will hold up cosmetically, but it seems fine for above-the-waterline use.
