I can't see any screws in the front wheel area, does this mean it's incompatible?** A: Hi, there should be two plastic plugs at the base of the wheel arches, they match up with the holes in the mud flaps , you remove and replace with the ones supplied with the Mud flaps, the rear flaps are also fixed by removing a 10mm bolt and then replacing, if the holes don’t line up properly then you must have the wrong mud flaps for your model, hope this helps **Q: Do you have to remove wheels prior to install?** A: No, you don’t have to remove any of the wheels to fit these mud flaps. It’s a relatively straightforward job to fit them and I’m not a confident DIYer. The instructions advise you to turn each of your front wheels to full lock before fitting the front flaps. This is to give sufficient room for your screwdriver to access and tighten a screw to fit each of the front flaps. The rear flaps will require you to sit or lie on the ground to locate and remove a bolt with a spanner. This bolt is then placed back through the flap to make for a secure fit. It was a simple job to fit these flaps when I took delivery of my M3 four years ago. When one of the flaps got bent on a kerb a few weeks ago, I didn’t hesitate and bought another set. Looking at other owners’ M3s, I’m delighted with the way these Basenor mud flaps have protected the sides of my car from stone chips. **Q: Do these fit the 2023 Tesla Model 3. However, Basenor advertise that the mud flaps are suitable for '2016-2023'. So I'd suggest you buy them and return them if their description was wrong i.e. these flaps don't actually fit your 2023 Model 3. What I can tell you is that these mud flaps are a good fit on my Model 3 and do an excellent job reducing stone chips and general debris wear to the side panels of the car. **Q: Can the mud flaps be used for 2023 Model Y ?** A: Yep be no different to previous models. They are priced very fairly too. They look great and finish the car off nicely while protecting the car from stone chips as the model 3 seems to get a lot of them. They are easy to install but the clips that come with the mudguards in my opinion seem useless they did add a screw for the front pair which I use as I’m never taking these off anyways. If the clip was easier to put on this would have been a 5 star. I would suggest if you get them make sure you clean behind them regularly to stop the grit that builds up behind them.
