They’re specific that the toy is hand sewn and made in the USA and that the catnip is grown in the USA but they don’t assert that the fabric and thread are also made in the USA from USA grown materials. (Very little fabric is 100% made in USA including growing of the material.) You’d have to contact them here or on their website duckyworld dot com. He played with it nonstop for a good 45 minutes. It's definitely very well made with a heavy canvas, but I did have to restitch a few seams because of my cat's heavy use. Easy fix.EDIT: My lil' roommate absolutely loves this fish, too. She gets excited just smelling the package it comes in. For reference, she's less than half the weight (6.5 lbs) of my family's longtime cat (14 lbs), and about a third of his size. She's 13, but often mistaken for an older kitten or young cat less than a year old- he's 12, and acts and looks like a senior cat. Their size difference hasn't mattered for this toy, they've both loved it at all ages, and I highly recommend it as the best cat toy to both gift and get for your feline friend. It's the best kicker, and my alien bb also loves it as a pouncing toy.*I personally recommend getting a new yellow fish every 6-12 months due to play and the catnip strength decreasing over time. If you re-stuff it, make sure to buy the Yeowww brand. I personally get one to two each year. Refilling it helps longetivity, but isn't the same and not as strong as a new one.*It's also normal for some tiny black specs to come out when your cat is playing with it- it's just some catnip that comes out from puncture marks when they play. It's not a lot, but if you find it, don't worry!
