It handles my Shure SM7dB with the Shure MVX2U. Obviously you can't extend this all the way out otherwise it will tip.I love the solid feel of the mostly metal construction. The adjustment knobs are metal and hefty. Easy to adjust and it stays in place.Other note is that the slots for cable management only fits USB-C.
