## Questions & Answers

**Q: What is the height of each steps from the ground??**
A: Measured: Bottom step is 9 3/4 inches from the floor
Second lowest step is 19 inches from the floor.
Third step is 28 inches from the floor.
Highest step is 37 1/8 inches from the floor.
Top edge of the upper, top handrail is 64 inches from the floor.

**Q: Is the capacity truly 500lbs? I see in one review that it's truly only 330lbs.**
A: It depends which variation you get. I'm around 240lbs, and the the small 3-step ladder rated at 330lbs, and feel quite comfortable on it. The "3 step" version is rated for 500lbs, but the "aluminum 3 step" and the "small 3 step" variants are rated for 330. It says it right in the description for each variant you select.

**Q: How do you fold the step ladder close**
A: There is a metal lever about a half inch in width in the middle of the third step which you push down and it will allow you to fold the ladder.

**Q: What is the country of origin? (where is it manufactured)**
A: Why does this come up when you search Amazon for “folding step stool made in usa”?
