I really only needed one, but it's good to have others around and they are cheap enough to just get them. No issues with signal, picture quality, or build quality. Note the orientation of them so they work for you, but you get differnt ones. My pictures show the before and after for my application, which was using an old monitor with DVI in my current setup as a 3rd monitor in portrait mode. I already had the DVI to HDMI adapter, but the cord stuck out and was rather annoying.
