It mixes perfectly too. I have a big heavy food processor, but it’s so big and bulky I don’t always feel like hauling it out. This is so nice and compact, it’s super easy to use. And the lid snaps on nice and tight. It’s not like my older food processor that had to slide and lock, and at times would jolt apart while I was using it and scare the heck out of me. This one is completely safe and secure. It even has little suction cup feet on the bottom so you can’t slide it on the counter. It’s VERY safe feeling. The snap lid has to be in place for it to work, it’s a great safety feature. It’s really easy to clean up too. I hand wash the blades; I find the dishwasher too caustic on blades and wears them out much quicker. But otherwise I would put everything else in the dishwasher. It’s not designed to crush ice or spices. And it’s recommended to freeze cheese like mozza for 30 min prior to shredding. It does make great smoothies though! This has been a great purchase and I would definitely buy it again. Highly recommend.
