I am an avid camper, hiker, survivalist, scouter and first aid maniac. I did about 2 months of research for a small bag that I wanted to carry all the basic stuff that I was going to bring in with me on ambulance calls so that I didn't have to stuff my pockets full. I purchased the Red version of this bag so the entirety of this review only applies to this particular bag. I cannot speak for any variations that may be found in other colors but for the most part they all seem to be the same.This bag is much smaller than it looks in the picture. It is only about 14-16" long and has a diameter of about 7" when I put everything I carry into it. This bag is NOT made as a primary "first in bag" so if that is what you are expecting then don't look here. its about half the size of a D tank of O2 so no way that's going to fit in there. However, If you are looking for a personal EDC, first in basics bag, first aid bag or something similar than this bag is absolutely wonderful.This is an amazing bag for those looking for something small. I used this during my EMT ride along's before I was certified to carry basic gear into calls. I could fit a full size CPR mask, gauze pads, a small reference book, and any ID tags I needed in the outer pocket. Penlight and pen went in the slots on the side. the penlight stayed nicely but the pen kept falling out because it had a bad clip. In one side pouch i have a 6" Israeli Bandage and on the other side i have a 1st gen SOF tourniquet. In the main pouch I carried my B/P cuff, stethoscope, gloves, face mask, and pulse ox. Overall, I still have room to fit more stuff if I wanted too. Once I get a glucose kit I will most likely throw that in there too. The outer pocket has an inner divider that I use to separate the CPR mask from the Field Guide and ID tags. The divider has a couple of pockets that I used to fit 2x2 gauze pads (I fit 2 or 3 comfortably in each). the main pocket has a mesh divider on one side that I use to keep my PPE (Gloves, face mask) separate from the stethoscope and B/P cuff.In terms of construction this bag is pretty well made. The fabric is tough enough to withstand a beating and it comes very slightly rain resistant. I haven't tried spraying waterproofing anything on it yet but I will try that in the future. The grab handle on the top is very sturdy, if you slack the buckle straps a little you can put a water bottle, glasses, or anything that will fit under it and then tighten the buckles down and they will hold whatever object you have there really well. The D rings on the sides are plenty strong to hold whatever weight you put in this. I've had this bag for a few months now and nothing is showing any signs of wear and tear from the regular use I put it through. All the zippers are fairly heavy duty and i have had no problems so far with any of them. When not in an ambulance I use this as a primary first aid bag and throw it in my car whenever I'm driving.The webbing deserves its own section so that will be here. This bag comes with both ALICE and PALS/MOLLE. I haven't quite managed to figure out the difference between pals and molle but this bags works great with both of them. The ALICE webbing is on the front of the pouch viewable in the thumbnail picture and on each side. I use the front center slot to carry my Leatherman Raptor sheath so that the shears are in line with the rest of the pouch. It fits beautifully. The MOLLE is all the way around the bag. Condor placed it over the alice on the front and sides and there are 4 rows of horizontal MOLLE on the back separated in the middle by about 1". The bag comes with two reinforced snap straps that can be used to either attach the bag to a larger pack, a bike, or anything really, or they can be used to help attach other modular bags to this one. I purchased a New Platoon First Aid Kit FA181 from Elite First Aid (http://elite1staid.com/Products/Kits/FA181.aspx). That bag I use almost specifically for hemorrhage control and I can either use the two straps built in to that bag to secure it to the Condor or I can use the straps on the Condor to attach it. Either way works. The straps the Condor bag comes with are taller than the webbing on the back so the bag may hang a small bit but you can move the straps around to fit your preference.Overall, I would highly recommend this purchase to anyone looking for a small-medium bag to carry stuff in.
