The notebook’s corners have special squares which allow notes to be scanned into the brand’s Five Star app. That’s cool, but the squares are distracting and take up space. It’s pretty easy to miss this information in the description. The app itself is pretty basic. It allows you to take pictures/scans of notes where you can organize them by subject and make flash cards. It’s tedious, so I’ll stick to paper for now. The cover will show marks like fingerprints and the binding also isn’t as substantial as I’d like.
