UPDATE: May 2024 - the lights we had around the pool I took down for winter when we put the pool away. I moved them to a trellis where they continued to illuminate through the winter and are still lighting now in the spring. The second set was on a small tree and that one stopped working over the winter. Not sure why. Overall I’m still happy for the price. Orig. review (2023): These are not as bright as lights you’d plug in but they’re great if you just want a little accent lighting as decoration. They’re not made for complete illumination of an area. We put them around our pool. The lights in the distance on the fence are hard wired low voltage and are definitely brighter.
